Decent store as far as selection goes. Wide variety of Sports and accessories for those Sports. However, the store is not what it used to be. You used to be able to get a really good bargain in there. Now, when you go in there, everything is priced basically just below retail. If you’re looking to buy Something decent you might as well just buy it brand new. It’s not worth saving five to $10 on something that somebody has already used the life out of. For example, I was looking at golf clubs and came across a Callaway Mac daddy. The club was entirely rusted to hell and the face was entirely worn down. The price tag on it was still 59.99. And when you look it up online, that’s how much they were going for on secondhand websites such as eBay etc. And those ones were in substantially nicer condition. Long story short if you’re looking for a deal, maybe look elsewhere. Large variety, but absolutely not a bargain.

I have been a loyal customer since the Baytown Plaza days, so this one is disappointing to write. I recently purchased a Soldier Tank bat for my 9-year-old son. Since it was out on the sales floor, I assumed it was in good condition and safe to buy. I did not think I needed to inspect it closely before purchasing. My son took a couple of swings with it, and we left with what I believed was a lightly used $150 bat. Unfortunately, before his first game using the bat, his coach looked it over and told me the bat was dead and not in good shape. I reached out to the store hoping that a business I have supported for many years, and one that I always viewed as family-oriented, would be willing to help in some way, whether that was a credit toward another bat or another reasonable solution. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I am only one customer, but after this experience, you have lost my business.

Tried to see if i could replace the shaft of my driver or have a new one built, guy in the phone had me thinking it was impossible and said I would have to buy a new club. Then I called pennfair and the employee immediately reassured it was indeed able to be done and if they dont have one they can BUILD one. With all due respect y'all seem reputable, but you didn't even really try to help so I recommend another place if your looking for repair or replacements.

This is a golf only review the rest of the store seems great. But you had the oldest and least selection. everything you had was a 5 dollar club at a garage sale and some of em you wanted 70 dollars for. Great store for anything other than golf. But somehow you're the number one search on Google for used golf clubs in like 100 sq mile. So yeah your golf selection is goodwill but with higher prices.

I had a fantastic experience at this Play It Again Sports location! Right when you walk in, you notice how clean, well-lit, and organized the layout is—it’s very easy to find exactly what you’re looking for. The location is great and easy to spot from the road. ​The staff here really knows their stuff. I was specifically looking for skates, and the team was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, making sure I got the perfect fit rather than just handing me a box. Their pricing is very fair, and it’s a huge plus that they offer skate sharpening right on-site. Beyond hockey and skating, they have a massive variety of sports equipment and accessories. Friendly service and expert advice—I’ll definitely be back!
